Version 8.0.0 is not just an update. It is the start of a long-term vision to bring artificial intelligence into every part of Etlworks.

With this release we are introducing the first wave of our Intelligence Engine. This system enhances how users discover, build, document, and optimize flows. The capabilities available today are important, and they also lay the foundation for a broader transformation of the platform.

What is Already Available

  • AI-driven template discovery: find the right starting point across more than 4,000 templates with intelligent recommendations.
  • Automatic flow documentation: generate complete, structured documentation for flows, including nested steps and conditions, in seconds.
  • Flow inspection: detect performance and structural issues early so they can be fixed before they affect production.

What is Coming Soon

  • AI-powered field mapping that automatically matches fields between sources and destinations.
  • Execution intelligence with interactive heatmaps, detection of overused and underused timeslots, and automated schedule optimization.
  • Prompt-driven reporting where you can ask plain language questions such as “Show the top 5 flows executed in the last 4 hours” and get answers instantly.
  • Direct prompt-to-flow generation where you describe the integration you need and Etlworks creates the flow.
  • Resource utilization insights that highlight which flows consume the most shared resources and where to optimize.

Our Vision

AI in Etlworks is built on two pillars.

1. Direct prompt to action across the platform

Our goal is to let users control Etlworks with natural language. Instead of clicking through menus or writing scripts, you describe what you need and the platform acts. This applies to building flows, scheduling, monitoring, documentation, and reporting. Prompts become a first-class control method for integration work.

2. Agentic plumbing with MCP

We are working to expose Etlworks as an MCP server. This will allow customers and AI agents to use Etlworks connectors and transformations as building blocks for data-driven workflows and analytics. Etlworks already connects to almost everything and has a robust internal data model. Teams can work with complex data using prompt engineering and intelligent agents, and the same capabilities will be available internally so Etlworks can optimize pipelines on its own.

The combination of direct prompt to action and agentic plumbing is where Etlworks stands apart. No other SaaS integration platform is moving toward this level of AI-driven control across the product.

Improvements Beyond AI

Version 8.0.0 also includes performance boosts, UX refinements, and foundational changes that support intelligent flow analysis. These updates make Etlworks faster today and prepare it for more advanced intelligence features tomorrow.

Looking Forward

AI will not be a side feature in Etlworks. It will be part of the core. Version 8.0.0 is the first step toward a platform where prompts and agents drive every stage of integration.

We are building an environment where customers and agents collaborate with Etlworks directly, using prompts and agentic workflows to make integration faster, smarter, and more adaptive.
